The Intellivision platform hosted two officially licensed Advanced Dungeons & Dragons titles developed and published by Mattel Electronics: Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (1982) and Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Treasure of Tarmin (1983).
The original 1982 release was later retitled Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Cloudy Mountain to distinguish it from its sequel. It is notable for being the first Intellivision cartridge to use more than 4K of ROM and was highly acclaimed as one of the first adventure video games, receiving awards such as "1984 Best Adventure Videogame" at the Arkie Awards.
